People say the camera never lies but it my experience it can mislead  the people who look at it's images.

I posted them here because they looked amusing in the context of the motivational poster theme.  Whether they are still amusing now is a matter of personal taste.

I've no idea what is really going on because there is no context therefore I wouldn't even attempt to judge.

Personally I'm immensely grateful that we live in a country were photographs like that can be taken without the journalist being arrested and tortured.....BUT I can also completely sympathise with any of those officers getting pissed off with it happening.

Life is complicated

We were following the news on Friday night, having a drink round a friends house and Sky was on in the background.  This picture arrived on Sky about 1 hour into the standoff, and was taken basically over the shoulder of Moat.  You can see the outrage on the officer's face, who was trying to do a job and didn't need to be distracted by someone in his field of view.  That said, had I been there, I would have taken the exact same photo.

BP management tool?

The rare 1970s set 'BP Offshore Oil Strike' promises all the"thrills of drilling" in the North Sea - the first person to make £120 million ($262 million) wins. But players are also warned of potential oil spills caused by rig damage in hazard cards. One reads, "Blow-Out! Rig damaged. Oil slick clean-up costs. Pay £1,000,000". The mint condition set was donated to The House on the Hill Toy Museum in Essex, last week. (Source: SWNS.com)

I've read so much about this whole BP thing now, it seems since the accident the whole company has been completely ripped apart for everything... haven't heard much about it recently though Smiley
